Standardized Testing...

Yes, it's that kinda year again. Standardized testing, yippee!
So, as with all other schools across America, home of the No Child Left Behind act, my classmates and I bring two #2 pencils to school, listen to the oft-repeated pre-test bullshit teachers have to read unless they want to get fired, then finally take the test.
But us private schoolers are lucky; our tests are spread out across 5 days of about 1-1/2 hours of testing each day. Nice, but it doesn't exhaust the teachers as much (is telling groups of children to "shut up...OR ELSE " an energizer?), so they actually feel like teaching us, which sucks. =(

In other news, I found my late great-grandmother's house on Google Maps. It's now, last I heard, occupied by people outside my extended family, so I don't have problems with posting the embedded satellite image here:

Enjoy! Even though you didn't even know my great-grandmother...
Jeez, I still miss her. She was like 90, and made some kick-ass trail mix...
